Catherine Foley is a writer and broadcaster. She is a former staff journalist with The Irish Times, and a regular contributor to Sunday Miscellany on RTÉ Radio 1 . She has scripted, presented and co-produced twelve documentaries for the Irish-language broadcasting station, TG4.
She has had three Irish-language novellas published. Her work, Secret Letter Writers, was included in the short story collection, Irish Girls are Back in Town, in 2004.
She’s been published in The Stinging Fly, U Magazine, An Linn Bhuí, Southword Journal and New Hibernian Review. She was writer-in-residence at the Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris, in November 2006 and writer-in-residence in Scoil San Nioclás in Ring, Co Waterford, in 2003.
